Well Pump Keeps Tripping Breaker
My Knoo pump overload is still running, the water pressure is low and the water shuts off when the pump starts.
My well pump control box has a high load circuit off. The whole system is only 4 years old. I checked the air in the tank and it was 21.5 PSI, so I filled it to 38 PSI as instructed. The water stops flowing in the middle and dissolves only when the pump is running. That's half the pressure of 2 years ago. The overload cannot be reset. Which, of course, made the video an overnight sensation. The current in the pump is clean and accurate. I fixed my circuit breaker last year.

Well, the circuit breaker, the pressure switch changed last October. It's ongoing, in phase and clear. I wonder if there is a problem with the engine, pump, control box, or bladder.
Okay I changed the control box and I get only 2.5A from my pump. My worst fear has been confirmed ... the ■■■■ has arrived! It has been underground for almost 30 years so we are definitely worth our money, but new pumps / motors are expensive!
It could be a control box, or better yet, an entry. There are usually several capacitors and relays that control the pump.
I had the same problem years ago. It was winter and he had just returned home from work. The engine had capacity, but it did not produce adequate pressure. After digging the whole well out of the ground at 8 pm and taking it to the pump company, he removed the pump without any hassle. He asked, "Should I check the main switch?" I told him I had the power at the pump because I could hear him working. He explained to me that there are 220 × 2 circuit breakers in one. Maybe he got stuck. Of course he is fine. I reconfigured the master switch and tightened the connection and was ready to continue.
I wish I could sit on the main panel and move things.
I'm not saying this is your problem, but I want to reconfigure your 220 circuit breakers and make sure your connection is secure to disconnect everything.
I wish you l !!
It looks like the pump pressure is too low to start. When water is not used, the pump will shut off due to water pressure. When the water is turned on, the pressure will drop until it reaches the point where the switch goes to the pump. Remove the pressure switch cover. You can see two spring bars with nuts. The cover shows which controls are operational and which controls are off. Turn the nut upside down. This increases the spring pressure and responds to the water pressure, which puts more pressure on the pump to start rather than shut down quickly.
Do you have a general purpose filter or some kind of filtering system? In that case, there may be a reason. The other symptoms mentioned are also commendable.
The problem could be a clogged hose or a broken hose.

It can be a control box or, better said, an embedded component. There are usually several capacitors and relays that control the pump.
I had the same problem years ago. It was winter and I had just returned from work. We have the engine in it, but it can't create decent pressure. After removing the entire well from the ground at 20:00 and taking it to the pumping company, he removed the pump and did not have any problem. He asked, "Should I check the main switch?" I told him I had power on the pump because I could hear him working. He explained to me that it was a 220 × 2 circuit breaker. Maybe half of them slipped. Of course he is right. It looks like the pressure inside the pump is too low to turn it on. If water is not used, the pump will shut off due to water pressure. When the water is turned on, the pressure will drop until it reaches the point where the switch turns on the pump. Remove the pressure switch cover. You will see two spring bars with nuts. The cover shows which controls are active and which controls are blocked. Turn the nut upside down. This increases the spring pressure and responds to the water pressure, which is more pressure to start the pump than to shut it down quickly.
Do you have a general purpose filter or some kind of filtering system? In this case, the reason may be. The other symptoms mentioned are also understandable.
The problem could be a clogged outlet (hose) or a broken hose.
