Sandbags For Truck

Should I be on my TR with so many sandbags? 3

I have a 2008 Ford F150 long bed that is not 4WD and I would like to have a sandbag on my back to prevent it from slipping. Today we had the first snowfall of the year! How Many Pounds Do I Need?

update

I know it won't stop slipping completely ... I've been there my whole life. I know better than driving with sandbags in the winter ... just wondering what I need! Just answer the question! MDR

I also have doors and every winter I put 200,300 pounds on the back of the bed to pull the rear tires. You can find a sandbag of 5,060 pounds anywhere that does not weigh on the arm or leg. Remember that only sandbags can help you get out of the way.

I am 44 years old and the first snowfall always makes me restless. Make it easy and become a defensive driver. A few minutes is better than a complete fix.

How many sandbags should I keep at my door?

You can put 5000 sandbags on your door, nothing to prevent it from slipping. Place 100 to 200 pounds between the kite holes for better traction.

We have 2006 Ford F150 4WD and 4 60lb sandbags.

In what state do you live? Not waiting for the snow. It is very beautiful and sunny here in MI.

I usually carry 4 bags out of 60 pounds. It helps with traction, but not with sliding.
