The computer writes the order of the electrons in the form of Co, for example [Ar] 3d (7) 4s (2), which we will write [Ar] 3d74s2.

Ru's ground condition is irregular. Instead of being [Kr] 5s 2 4d 6 as you think, it's actually [Kr] 5s 1 4d 7

And then when you add the charge, you remove the electrons from the n submarine, that is, 5. You take one of the two electrons and the submarine is empty, so you go to 4d to get the other electron. (Because you are not drowning in nuclear electrons)
