Nicks And Scratches

What's the difference between a nix, a dent and a scratch? 3

Quality of metal surface condition

Marks are formed when areas of the finish material are completely removed. Like an ■■■■■■■■■ of color.

Dents occur when an area deteriorates due to its thickness. Like a cut on a car door if you slim hard enough to pull the metal but don't scratch or scratch the paint.

Scratches occur when parts of the finish material come together and damage the surface but do not cause dents or creases.

I use all three definitions to describe the flaws in polished metal tools. Scratches are surface marks (brown, scratches, etc.) that do not remove the material from the metal, such as nicks, but do not make the inner surface of the thin metal tube as uneven as the outside. Scratches occur when the base contacts the metal with such force that it completely separates it from the surface, but not enough to form a dent. Collisions occur when the contact breaks the surface but leaves no scratches or cuts.

But there is a catch. All three can be together, so who has priority? In my work, dentures are the worst and are basically the result of painting. So is Nick a recognizable defect or a dent? My definition is boss because the boss needs to be raised / leveled first, where the mark can be removed. Basically, dentures require more careless handling. Scratches are what we want to get rid of and are generally considered a complex task.

Random definition

Nick ... the sole has been removed or damaged or missing or missing and needs to be replaced, and is usually removable, abrasive ... just a semicolon on the surface Occurs and is usually able to shine.

That's more or less what I'm trying to say, there are more detailed ranking systems that add numerical value to them. A level 3 tooth would be a wound with a clearly visible arch ... I think that makes sense.

Unmark removed

In the case of holes, the depth is greater than the length.

Strips are shorter in length.

Nix varnish has small chips.

The projection is made of bent sheet metal.

Stripes are long stripes.
