Do Sperry Boots Fit True To Size

I ordered a pair of Sperrys online, wondering what size they would be. I didn't get a chance to try it on myself, but my sister told me she had to cut it in half because the normal size was too tight.

I wear size 7 for women. Should I upgrade to 7.5 or 7 works? Or do I have a G size and do I need a size 6.5?

I cut 3 pairs of Sperry and two of them actually fit, but one was too tight. So it really depends on the style. I recommend trying it in the store before buying. Otherwise, order half the size, especially if you want to wear it with socks.
