Cutting Chicken Wire - How To Discuss
Cutting Chicken Wire
Can I cut the chicken wire without the tongs? 3
I brought the wire to Loose to temporarily cover some of the dirt from my fence, but I forgot about the wire cutter and the return trip to Loose was long. Can I use something else to cut the thread?
updateThank you guys. I'll try to tell you how to do it!
Well, the scissors don't work. I think the reason is that the wire is thicker than normal wire. I've got some very fast electric wires. It took a worm to cut each piece and this tool is now broken, but it worked! I never use these things anyway. Thank you for the advice!
Hey, I should have waited for your advice. LOL Thank you so much! I will try next time

The tip of a regular tongs is a sharp tip that most people don't know about. Open the pliers and slide it behind the wire closest to the handle, then pull it hard. It will definitely cut the thread! You will see a small mark where the blades meet. They are neither good nor practical, but they cut 12 gauge copper wire and can stop you from going to the hardware store. (We live 40 miles from any store, so we've learned to improve almost anything.)

Poultry wire can be cut with a stainless steel lead or the power of any scissors, it will not be easy to scissor but will be workable.
I also cut them with a sharp tool such as an ax or ax and hammer, placed the wire on the cut edge, and lightly tapped the wire with the hammer. Make sure the cutting tool is stable and dynamic and do not hit the blade with a hammer as it may break and injure.
Some tongs also have a wire cutter on the back of the jaw.

It is always easy to cut the wire mesh with your fingers.
Some tools have wire cutters. Like some tongs, needles and others.
Old scissors will work and won't hurt even if you cut the same scissors over and over again.
I use scissors.
