Apparently, my mother last fried the bacon and left it outside (not outside, on the fridge or counter) in a plastic covered box.

Is it safe to eat? Most of the pieces of meat looked old and dry, while some were lacking.

It is cooked and is high in salt and possibly sugar. Should be fine for a few days.

The bacon was refrigerated. I will not risk eating the meat left behind.
