Bing Ads - How To Discuss

By Rachel Hickman |

Bing Ads

This is a system that allows you to run PPC campaigns on Microsoft's Bing search engine. In a nutshell, it's the equivalent of Google Ads to any other search engine. The system uses artificial intelligence to better optimize campaigns.

What does it offer?

Bing Ads can run search campaigns (text and dynamic ads), remarketing, country-specific product campaigns, and mobile app promotion campaigns. It also provides the ability to create native ads in Microsoft Audience Ads. Campaigns can include geo-targeting, links, images, apps, reviews, and phone numbers. The affiliate network in turn includes Bing, Yahoo and AOL.

Because Bing Ads is less popular than Google and thus less competitive, it also has a lower CPC and higher conversion rates. The system also allows you to copy campaigns from the Google Ads dashboard.

System Limits

  • Product ads target far fewer countries than Google Ads.
  • You also cannot use display ads.
  • The ad network is available in the United States and includes far fewer websites.

Microsoft's answer to Google Ads, Bing Ads is where you can place search ads on the Bing search engine.

Because Bing's search engine is much smaller than Google, the reach of Bing Ads is much smaller than that of Google Ads. However, because Bing Ads are less used than Google Ads, they are also cheaper.

Before it was called Bing Ads, it was called Microsoft adCenter and before that, MSN adCenter.

A pay-per-click advertising platform that allows advertisers to serve ads on the Bing and Yahoo search engines similar to those on Google.

A platform that offers pay-per-click advertising on both Bing and Yahoo! seeker. The service allows companies to create ads and then show them to consumers who search for keywords that companies have bid on. This platform also offers targeting options such as location, demographics, and device targeting.
